The best place to get a view of Ground Zero is from the 2nd Floor of the World Financial Center. Use the pedestrian bridge to cross West Street and make your way to the shops on the 2nd level.

Things to Do near the Sheraton: The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel

Need to arrive 30 min ahead at Amtrak to check baggage.

From Penn Station to Sharaton New York is 8 mins by subway, 21 mins walking

One smart co-worker recommended that we take the subway to Brooklyn and then walk back to Manhattan - much better views. He was right.

Turn right on Prospect St., go East under the Brooklyn Bridge
At Washington Street, turn right and go South (under the Brooklyn Bridge again) and you're on the Promenade
